Shower Posse Politics Dominate Jamaica Election

The power of Shotta culture in Jamaica was illustrated strongly this week as the Shower Posse, named for the fact that they shower their enemies in lead, pulled their support of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).

Shotta is the Jamaican term for gangster, a slang derived from the high regard given to 'shooters' or murders in the culture.

They withdrew their support following the Dudus affair in which they felt betrayed by the party they had previously backed so strongly.  This was shown in last Thursday's election in which 48% of the electorate just didn't show up at the polls and the JLP were slaughtered at the polls as badly as Dudus' Shower posse was a year ago when the JLP bowed to American pressure to go after Christopher "Dudus" Coke and invaded his domain in Tivoli.

For those whose only exposure to Jamaican culture is Bob Marley and sons reggae/dancehall sounds, Shotta culture may be a bit of a shock.  The Posses and Yardies are some of the hardest criminals on the planet, giving Kingston and Jamaica the reputation of murder capitol of the world a statistic they have justly earned for many of the years since the early 70s when the posses began to form.

Yardie is a term that derives from those living in the government yards or housing projects in Jamaica where the posses originally formed and has been exported to refer to Jamaicans struggling in the West.

Prior to this, Jamaica was prospering from the mining of bauxite but felt that they deserved the same sort of labour deals as the miners working for the same companies in Canada.  Alcan disagreed and told the industrial world to choose between working with Canadian aluminum or Jamaica.  Following this economic collapse the only option for Jamaicans was to serve foreign tourists or resort to desperate measures and so Shotta culture was born.

It spread through the migration of Jamaicans to England, America and Canada and with them came Jamaican Marijuana and reggae music, which I am sure the majority of you are familiar with.  Following this came the almost inevitable expansion into cocaine, guns and just about every other organized crime activity they could profit on.

Fast forward to the present and the recent elections which clearly illustrate how powerful Jamaican posses have become as without their backing no one can achieve legitimate power.

Winnipeg Hells Angels Ex-President Sues Government

Well it seems Hells Angels Ex-President Ernie Dew is upset he can't keep his proceeds of crime. The sliver lining is that Ernie Dew, the former head of the Hells Angels in Winnipeg, doesn’t have to worry about a roof over his head.

It's Stoney Mountain for Dew

Having been convicted of three counts of trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine) Ernie won’t need to look for a new home for the duration of his 13 years sentence.  His former dwelling, located at 189 Cessna Way was seized and sold as proceeds of crime.  He is appealing the convictions due to entrapment, that ruling is expected later this month.

Ernie Dew hunts while wife flips kilogram of coke out of their home

The lawsuit Dew has just filed names the provincial and federal governments, suing them for “conversion, trespass to chattels, unjust enrichment, misfeasance of public office, negligence,” among other things.  Even though he has been convicted of trafficking he claims the house was seized as part of a charge he beat due to the fact that he was out of town hunting while his wife sold a kilogram of cocaine to Hells Angel associate Jerome Labossiere.  Like the previous post about the elusive Sasquatch it seems a standard HA tactic to get the women to do their work for them.

Pope Benedict XVI condemns ‘Ndrangheta

Looks like the Vatican isn't a fan of this new mob replacing their old one. They'll launder Sicilian money but not Calabrian?  After all the allegations of God’s Banker linked to the Sicilian Cosa Nostra I guess it doesn’t come as much surprise that the Pope is coming out against their competition.  The pope has stated that they are "tearing at the social fabric", what by displacing Vatican allies?

Not that I am condoning either group, both are a haven for psychopathic killers and are responsible for the majority of drugs imported to the Western World, with the 'Ndrangheta apparently importing 80% of the cocaine into Europe but it is classic catholic double speak to protect their allies while calling out their adversaries for the same practices.  “Thou shalt not kill”; except if they get in the way of the Pope spreading the word of an all loving god.  But this isn’t about the pope and his church’s long history of corruption.

With a strong presence in Canada especially in the GTA, the ‘Ndrangheta are a group of Calabrians from southern Italy who have operated there for quite some time but have only recently become known globally.  Most recently, Carmelo Gallico was arrested in Barcelona where extradition proceedings are in the process of sending him back to Italy to face numerous charges including  homicide, extortion and money laundering with other charges currently pending.  He had been living in the Spanish city in an attempt to evade these charges.  Perhaps he should have come to Canada where so many of his brethren are living openly without seeming to have any fear of extradition.

The Siderno Group, the most powerful clan from Calabria, has an estimated eight members living openly in the GTA who are wanted for serious crimes back home.  While it is true that in 2005 two of their leaders were extradited the majority seem to be operating with impunity.  With their ties in Columbia they appear to be the major importers of cocaine in the western world, with an estimated $50 billion a year into Europe.  They operate in clan structures closely bound by family ties with an estimated 10000 made men, a small army enforcing their will across the globe from their historic home in Italy across Europe to North and South America and as far as Australia.

Similar to their Cosa Nostra rivals, they use brazen and brutal acts to keep people in line.  “The 'Ndrangheta wields violence to settle scores, eliminate those who pose a threat, or simply to terrorize the locals. Their methods can be gruesome: In 1991, the 'Ndrangheta murdered a butcher in the village of Taurianova in broad daylight, in front of his own shop, by cutting off his head with one of his own knives and then using the head for target practice in the main piazza. Not one eyewitness to this public slaying came forward.”  (National Post)

Unlike the Cosa Nostra, ‘Ndrangheta membership is strictly regulated by blood relations.  It is expected that the sons of uomini d’onore (men of honor) will be groomed from a young age as giovani d’onore (boys of honor), giving this group remarkable cohesion.  This has allowed them to spread their influence globally through the simple migration of Calabrians throughout Europe, North and South America and Australia.

While they are new to the mainstream media, they are not a new entity.  Historically, the first reference to them comes from the prefect of Reggio Calabria who notes their presence in 1861, at the time referring to them as camorristi in reference to the Camorra who operate in the urban center of Naples.  It is not until the 1880s that there is mention of the onorata societa or honoured society.   By 1906 their influence had spread to the new world, with ‘Ndrangheta running an intimidation racket on Pennsylvanian mines.  It was around this time that they began operating in Australia as well, with the Sergi, Barbaro and Papalia clans ruling the east coast, beginning with Queensland.  The Siderno Group, one of the richest and most powerful clans, have been operating in Canada since the 1950s.

With the decline of the Cosa Nostra, as illustrated by the recent Rizzuto deaths in Montreal, it looks like this group is the dominant force.  The profits estimated from the importing of cocaine into Europe alone ($50 billion) puts them in the running to be more profitable than many countries.  With resources like this it is hard to imagine that they will be going anywhere anytime soon.

Is Santa A Prospect For The Hells Angels?

Wonder what this pawn shop did to end up on Santa's naughty list?  Maybe Santa's workshop's got a little more overhead than I'd originally thought, as these three St. Nick's pillaged a Siberian pawn shop of all their gold just after the holiday.

This gang of Santas were pros, coming in armed with shotguns and firing off four shots to subdue the employees.  They were in and out in 47 seconds.  I guess that's how they make it round the world to all the good boys and girls in one night.

What is the world coming to when even Santa is resorting to gangsterism in these tough times?  It is getting to be a holiday tradition in Novosibirsk, where another striking Santa got caught after taking 5.5 million rubles in a similar heist a year ago.  He is presently serving 4 years for that offense.

After waiting outside the shop passing on holiday cheer to passers by on the street these criminal Clauses showed no hesitation, waiting for the opportune time to rush the door and make their move.  Having cleaned out all the gold jewelry including 160 gold chains this might be a good year to ask for some bling as Santa seems to be stocking up!

Here's hoping these red and white wearing hoodlums won't end up replacing Rudolph with Harleys and going for their patches for the next holiday season!

Hells Angel President Paul “Sasquatch” Porter Fears Prison?

Well it seems the illusive Sasquatch has been found.  Paul “Sasquatch” Porter will go on trial for cocaine trafficking in the new year. He was charged after a brief Ottawa Police investigation.

"One of the only things the Hells Angels boss fears is prison."

What really strikes me is the fact that one of the only thing he "fears is prison" as said by his associates. Not a whole lot of gangster left in there I see. What is he so scared of in prison?

Girlfriend as drug mule?

As the fictional Sasquatch seemed hell bent on avoiding any hard encounters with people, he seems to match this one by having his girlfriend "Debbie Brennan" mule a quarter kilo of coke in her purse. Class act Mr. Porter.

So let us get this straight, he gets his girlfriend to mule his work? He fears prison? How can anyone fear this guy when he's just a hair away from pissing his pants when he see his shadow.

Porter has always been insulated and far removed from the biker sweeps that sometimes do send some of the outlaws to prison. But a new bar has been set, letting the mule, in this case his girlfriend likely take the fall.

“It turned out to be the cops who stole it."

There was a the time someone “stole” his pick-up truck. His notorious biker gang sent the newspaper a press release about the theft, saying clearly whoever stole it must have noticed the Hells Angels biker vest inside. Isn't there a code for these guys about talking to the press? I guess he never received that memo. "If the ‘club’ decides to get their message out, they’d go through me. I’d rather they just bought an ad and spare me the high school lines that criminal enterprise is not a prerequisite for membership, and that riding Harleys keeps one young at heart." He is simply pathetic and transparent in every way.

"He makes an honest living fixing motorcycles for 50 bucks an hour."

Yes of course, now that makes sense. We obviously will buy into the fact that the President of the Hells Angels in Ottawa and an original defector from the Rock Machine fixes bikes for 50/hr. This was a statement he made that day. So tell us how many hours swinging the wrench does it take to buy 1/4 kilo? And let's not forget the cost of your faithful mule?

Inspiration Day

Well, where to begin this journey? I guess my first post should begin with the reason why I created this blog.  My name Name is Valorie, I can think for myself, and am quite content with the point I've come to on this path. I don't follow mainstream media, unless there is a reason that I should stay tuned to in the event that something isn't adding up that needs our attention.

I've been following Agent K's wonderful blog at "Gangsters Out" for years now and when I saw a post he made that he was ready to hang it up, my heart deeply sank. Now I don't know him personally but I do admire him greatly with his relentless tenacity to get behind what is perceived as real . He has decided to keep on with his fine blogging, which I applaud him for considering the numerous threats he receives towards his family and himself.

What I will do is devote my attention to all things corrupt in this world and try my best to expose them to masses of the open minded. What I have seen throughout my life is much more crazier than any Hollywood plot, and this I will share with you over time.

There will be times when I am wrong, as we are all born fallible. But what I hope to get across is that we, together can change our thought patterns and learn to become independent free thinkers together as we were born to be.

Gangsters, come in many shapes and forms. We could easily put all the blame on gangs, but there are many more forms that we must look at with a sharpened eye. The men in suits, such as our own government is just one quick example.

When lies are thrust upon us as truth and paraded with their masks made of deceit, must we not need to dig even deeper into ourselves and ask the hard questions? We need to become unified, not divided. We need to be free, not enslaved. We need to think, not memorize. So when the naysayers beset us from every side, and they will. We need everyone to filter their petty propaganda independently. And when they do this, they will show us their simple yet effective agendas at hiding the truth.
